The Moncton Thunderbirds are a developmental Minor Midget AAA Team that plays an exhibition season across the Maritimes including 20 games in the PEI Minor Midget AAA Hockey League.  Their games count towards the Island teams' standings in the PEI Midget AAA Hockey League, but the Moncton team does not participate in the playoffs.
